The full CFD database is distributed as a ZIP archive [1.7 GB]. It contains:

  • CFD image set
  • CFD-MR expansion set
  • CFD-INDIA expansion set
  • norming data and codebook
  • a READ ME file with information on the current version of the database
  • a measurement guide illustrating the physical measures included in the norming data

(1)   The database photographs and their accompanying information may be used free of charge for non-commercial research purposes only.

(2)   The database materials shall not be re-distributed or published without written consent from the copyright holder, the University of Chicago, Center for Decision Research.

(3)   No attempts may be made to identify or contact the individuals depicted in the database (including, but not limited to the use of CFD photographs in facial recognition software).

(4)   Use of the database materials must be acknowledged in all published work.
